Cancellations and refunds
How to raise a question about equipment bought through a separately confirmed arrangement. This website does not take payments.
1. There is no website checkout charge
Browsing equipment categories or preparing an enquiry does not transfer money to the store. There is therefore no charge for using this form to reverse. If you paid for equipment through a separately confirmed arrangement, direct a cancellation or repayment question to that actual transaction and identify the item, date and recipient of the payment.
2. Identify the item and the arrangement
An equipment description should be specific enough to distinguish a rod length, reel size, lure version or other relevant variation. When requesting a change or cancellation, explain which item and arrangement are involved and whether any goods have been collected or delivered. A general category name may not be enough to identify the purchase accurately.
3. Cancellation conditions and applicable protections
Before agreeing to a purchase, clarify the relevant cancellation, collection and delivery conditions. Rights associated with a purchase can depend on how the transaction occurred and the law that applies. This general page does not set a new universal deadline, remove a statutory remedy or impose an invented blanket rule that all fishing equipment is non-returnable.
4. Report a fault or a different item
If supplied equipment appears damaged, defective or different from the agreed specification, explain the observed problem and retain relevant records. Useful details can include the model, agreed version and what arrived. Stop using an item where its condition presents an immediate safety concern. The appropriate remedy needs consideration of the actual facts and applicable obligations.
5. Confirm a return destination before dispatch
Do not assume that the address on a category page is automatically the correct recipient for every returned item. Establish the practical instructions for the relevant purchase, including the recipient and any arrangements necessary for identification. Keep evidence of handing over or sending the goods, and discuss any proposed transport charge under the transaction’s conditions and applicable rights.
6. Clarify amounts and payment references
Where a refund is agreed or required, confirm which payment it relates to, the amount and currency, the method and the practical processing arrangements. A separate bank or payment provider may also have a role. This website cannot reverse a transaction through its draft form and does not establish a guaranteed banking processing time or an automatic right to make an unexplained deduction.
7. Provide enough information without exposing credentials
An ordinary order reference, date and brief explanation help identify a question. Complete card numbers, banking passwords, login codes and unrelated private documents do not belong in the enquiry field. If further evidence is genuinely needed, establish an appropriate channel for it. Preparing an email draft alone is not acknowledgement that a refund request has reached the business.
8. Keep records when a question remains unresolved
Retain the relevant offer, correspondence, item details and payment evidence so that the concern can be assessed consistently. State which part of the response still needs attention. This page describes a route for raising a question and does not prevent use of a competent consumer authority, an available dispute process or any other remedy applicable to the actual purchase.
